Overview
QuickFax is a browser-based fax service built around a single transaction: upload a document, enter a fax number, and pay $1.50 per page for delivery. The product deliberately strips out account creation, trial periods, and recurring billing, positioning itself against established online fax providers that bundle faxing into monthly plans.
Key Features
- Zero-account checkout: senders enter only a destination fax number and an upload, with no name, address, password, or profile to create. A cover sheet can be added optionally before continuing to payment.
- Broad file support: the uploader accepts PDFs, DOC and DOCX files, and images in JPG, PNG, TIFF, and HEIC formats up to 20MB, with drag-and-drop on desktop and camera capture on mobile browsers.
- Live status and confirmation: after checkout, a status page tracks the transmission in progress, and an email confirmation is dispatched once the fax is delivered.
- Stated security controls: files are encrypted at upload with 256-bit AES, transmission uses enforced TLS 1.2 with encrypted APIs, and stored documents are deleted automatically after delivery or failure.
- Cross-device access: the service runs in any modern browser on computer, iPhone, Android, and tablet, with no app installation required.
Supporting material includes a Wistia product demo, a Trustpilot review widget, a founder letter describing the origin of the service, and a library of guides covering comparisons against eFax, FaxZero, Dropbox Fax, and Faxaroo, plus walkthroughs for faxing from iPhone, Android, and desktop.
Target Audience
Occasional fax senders such as freelancers, small business owners, and individuals filing IRS, SSA, legal, medical, or government paperwork who need one transmission without committing to a monthly contract.
